Mechanics
The flashlight helps tell the story to the player by revealing bits of the story hidden in the darkness.
The player has to collect keys in different rooms to advance to another part of the ship.
To combat enemies the player has use the environment as their weapon. In the players first encounter with an enemy they use the beds attached to the walls to smash them. During the boss fight they use the gas lines in the ceiling to incinerate the enemy.

Art
I used the contrast between the emptiness of the dark rooms and the bright emissive lights to help guide the player throughout the level.
During build ups and cool downs I placed small bits of blue-green. Whilst uping the pressure I used red to provoke the player.
